People often ask at weddings what my DJ Name is, and while I have one - DJ Bubble Juice - the truth is I don't typically use it at other peoples' ceremonies. At weddings I specialize in curating the very best tracks from a more universal songbook (not my own favorites) including popular music that everyone knows and loves. It's a different story when I mix at garden parties, T-Shirt shops, smoke(less) lounges or other smaller events. Playing my own sets involves deeper cuts, innovative mash ups and a more unique vibe that commands a different name: DJ Bubble Juice brings fresh and vivid, noticeably interesting genre-fluid sets. Some of my biggest influences include Scandinavian electronic, Bay Area soul, modern European jazz, classic American Hip Hop, popular Afrobeat, contemporary Bossa Nova, Deep House, and alternative rock and indie music from across my life. I'm a young artist as a genre-fluid DJ and am at a different place in both my experience and my pricing -- book me now at introductory levels for garden parties, social events + other hangs.
